Research Director & Staff Instructor
Dr. Merilan graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics (Summa Cum Laude) and obtained a Master of Arts in Mathematics and Master of Arts in Statistics, all from the University of Missouri.
She holds a Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of Arizona and has taught and conducted research in mathematics and statistics at various institutions of higher learning, including the University of Missouri, the University of Arizona, and the University of Phoenix.
In addition to her academic credentials, Dr. Merilan is a licensed martial sciences Shidoin instructor and a 5th-degree martial arts black belt in Karate, Tae Kwon Do, and Kobudo. She provides KoSho MTI with analytical, research and instructional expertise.
